Join us on our daily dive and snorkel trips from Koh Lanta to some of the most spectacular islands, coral reefs and dive sites in the southern Andaman Sea.
Surrounded by dozens of smaller islands, the diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Lanta are home to a huge variety of marine life and some of the most extensive and healthy coral reefs in Thailand.
Departing from the south end of Long Beach each morning at 8 or 9 am, our fast boats offer the shortest possible journey times to the coral reefs and dive sites - as little as 25 to 30 minutes to the nearby Koh Haa Yai islands.
Diving & Snorkeling in Small Groups
We strictly limit the number of divers on board each of our speed boats to a maximum of 10 diving guests per day (plus our dive staff and boat crew).
Certified diver groups are normally just 2 or 3 divers with a guide (max 4), with dive groups being determined according to certification level and experience.
If we don't have any other divers to match your dive experience level, you might just end up diving with your very own private dive guide!
Fewer diving guests each day on our speed boats means that our dive staff and boat crews can provide a much higher level of service to each and every one of our guests.
Save Valuable Holiday Time
Our two speed boats depart from our dive shop @ Lanta Castaway Beach Resort each morning around 9 am during the high season, later than many of the other diving operators on Koh Lanta.
Most dive boats depart from the piers in Saladan village at the north of the island, however unlike the other dive operators, our boats depart from the south end of Long Beach. This means we are located much closer to Koh Lanta's dive sites, and our journey times are much shorter.
Since our fast boats and short journey times mean an early afternoon return to Koh Lanta, you also have plenty of time to relax at your bungalow, explore the island, or enjoy a sunset drink at the beach?
More time diving & relaxing on Lanta, less time travelling to and from the dive sites each day...
Experienced Staff & Great Personal Service
We are very lucky to have some of the most friendly and professional diving staff and boat crews on the island, many of whom have been with us for many years.
Everyone on our team loves scuba diving, and we love sharing our knowledge of the wonderful coral reefs and marine life around Koh Lanta with our guests.
Our boat crews are also part of the local 'Chao Lay' (Sea Gypsy) community. They are experienced fishermen, scuba divers and free-divers, with a lifetime's experience of the islands and seas around Koh Lanta.
This unrivalled knowledge allows us to choose the best possible diving sites at each area depending on the weather, currents, and sea conditions, giving you, the customer, the best possible diving experience.
You might even find your boat captain free-diving down to meet you underwater, pointing out an elusive fish or camouflaged stonefish hidden in the corals!

Lunch Between Dives
A delicious Thai food lunch is served between dives, with two chicken and two vegetarian options available every day.
Perfect fuel to keep you going between dives, lunch is served with steamed rice and prepared by a local Sea Gypsy family restaurant not far from our office at Castaway Resort.
If you have specific food allergies then please let us know and we'll try to accommodate this if possible.
For the majority of dive sites there is no option to go ashore between dives, which means we normally have lunch on the boat after the first dive.
On dive trips Koh Rok islands however, we can bring our speedboats right up to one of the amazing sandy beaches for lunch under the trees, providing a fantastic opportunity for exploring and taking photos.
