Small Groups, Fast Boats, Great Personal Service
Located at the south end of Long Beach at Lanta Castaway Beach Resort, Dive & Relax is Koh Lanta's original boutique dive shop. We operate two custom designed speedboats to some of Thailand's best dive and snorkel sites.
Our fast boats can reach the dive sites in as little as 30 minutes, saving you hours of travel time on larger, slower dive boats, especially if you plan more than 1 day diving.

Short Journey Times
Trips to Koh Haa and Koh Bida / Phi depart Koh Lanta at 9 am, normally returning around 1:30 - 2.00 pm each day.
Trips to Koh Rok depart at 8 am, again returning around 2 pm.
Trips to further away dive sites such as Hin Daeng & Hin Maung, or Shark Point & Anemone Reef depart just after 8 am, again returning around 2 - 2:30 pm.
All our dive trips are 2-tank dives, with a maximum of 10 divers on each of our boats, plus dive staff. Divers are split into 3 or 4 smaller groups, depending on the activities and experience of each person on board.
E-mail us info@diveandrelax.com with any questions, or to make a booking.
Diving The Mu Koh Lanta Marine Park
Koh Lanta is not just one island, it is an archipelago of 52 islands, many of which are part of the Mu Koh Lanta Marine National Park, home to some of the best scuba diving in Thailand.
When people say they love Koh Lanta's diving, they are usually referring to the 6 limestone islands of the Koh Haa Yai archipelago, the magical coral-fringed Koh Rok islands, and the deeper pinnacles of Hin Daeng & Hin Muang located at the far south of the Mu Koh Lanta Marine National Park.

These breathtaking diving and snorkeling sites are normally between 30 minutes and 75 minutes by speed boat from our base in Lanta Castaway Beach Resort at the south end of Long Beach.
More information on our dive sites.
Diving The Mu Koh Phi Phi Marine Park
In addition to wonderful diving around the Mu Koh Lanta Marine Park, we also have quick and easy access by speedboat to the best dive sites at the Mu Koh Phi Phi Marine National Park.
Koh Phi Phi Leh, the Bida Islands, Hin Klai, and the HTMS Kledkaeo wreck are just a quick 35 - 40 minute speedboat trip from Koh Lanta.

Whilst not far from Koh Lanta, the dive sites around the Bida islands and Koh Phi Phi are quite different from those in the Lanta Marine Park. The underwater topography, coral species and growth forms, and abundance of other marine species vary noticeably between the two.
The dive sites of Shark Point & Anemone Reef are slightly further away from Koh Lanta, sitting between Phi Phi and Phuket, and are best visited in February, March or April.

Scuba Skills Refresh
We understand that those who have not dived for a while might feel a little anxious about getting back into the water.
Even for those who are more confident divers, if you've not been diving for a while, you'll enjoy improved buoyancy, air consumption, and confidence in the water after a light scuba skills refresher with our experienced dive staff.

We conduct the scuba skills refresher at the beginning of the first dive to help ease you back into the water.
We'll also include a quick theory review and extended dive briefing to make everything as smooth as possible and ensure that you have the best possible dives around Koh Lanta.
For those who have not dived in a long time, or who are feeling less confident in the water, we can provide a full scuba skills review in confined water the day before diving from the boat.
Nitrox Diving
For Enriched Air certified divers, we have 32% Nitrox available at 250 Baht per tank during the high season here on Koh Lanta.
If you're not already a Nitrox certified diver, it's really easy to add the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course to a 2 tank dive trip while you're diving with us here on Koh Lanta.

Please remember that our dive guides will always dive an 'air' profile, even if some of our divers are using Nitrox.
Advanced Course
If you're already Open Water Certified (or equivalent SSI, BSAC, NAUI, etc.) and plan to dive for at least 3 days then you can also boost your dive skills and knowledge to the next level by taking the Advanced Open Water Diver course at the same time.

Include 5 Adventure Dives over 3 days of diving, diving deeper, learning how to navigate unknown dive sites, improving your buoyancy, and expanding your knowledge of the amazing underwater world.
Make the most of your time diving with us here on Koh Lanta and get certified as a Advanced Open Water Diver.
Private Speedboat Charter
For the perfect dive or snorkel trip, you can also privately charter one of our speed boats to some of the most beautiful islands, beaches, and coral reefs around Koh Lanta.

Why do we need to see you the day before a trip?
All dive equipment is packed the evening before a trip and loaded to our boats early the next morning before our office opens. This means that check-in with us on the morning of a dive trip is not possible.
We also like to meet all our guests the day before diving as this helps us to plan the dive groups and staff, answer any last minute questions, and hopefully avoid any last-minute surprises on the morning of a trip.
All of this helps us to be better organised and provide a higher level of service.
Please bear this in mind when planning your journey to Koh Lanta.
