eLearning from PADI allows student divers to complete the theory part of PADI scuba diving courses at home, before arriving on Koh Lanta, saving many hours of valuable time learning theory while on holiday.

Further courses are also available, including the PADI Rescue Diver course and the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox courses, both of which mean more time in the water, and less time in the classroom!
How does it work?
Check availability and make a booking with us before registering with PADI eLearning.
Sign-up on the PADI website and select Dive & Relax as your eLearning dive centre. You can learn at your own pace, covering the online materials and videos whenever it suits you.
After each section, there is a short multiple choice quiz, followed by a final exam.
With small teaching groups, personal attention and a focus on both safety and fun, you complete the course here on Koh Lanta with one of our fantastic PADI professional instructors.

PADI eLearning fees are paid directly by the student to PADI when registering for a course, and include the PADI course certification fee.

PADI Open Water Diver Course Online
After you have completed the course theory at home, the practical part of the course is completed as follows:
Day 1: Around 3 - 4 hours practical introduction to scuba diving equipment and skills.
You'll learn how to assemble, disassemble and test your gear, followed by a practical session in a confined water area/swimming pool where you will learn all the main scuba diving skills needed to keep you safe and get you started on your underwater adventure.
Day 2: Two dives from the boat under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor to a maximum depth of 12m.
Day 3: Two dives from the boat under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor to a maximum depth of 18m, followed by the final certification paperwork!

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course Online
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course consists of 5 Adventure Dives, 2 of which are the mandatory Deep Adventure Dive and the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive.
The remaining 3 dives are yours to choose, however please bear in mind that we might not be able to offer the full range of Adventure dives here on Koh Lanta.
We recommend Peak Performance Buoyancy which will make a big difference to your diving, and since we have such a wonderful abundance and diversity of tropical marine life, we recommend other Adventure dives such as Fish Identification and Underwater Naturalist.
There are of course others, such as Search & Recovery, Multilevel Diver, and Drift Diver which are all great dives to complete at the dive sites around Koh Lanta.

PADI Rescue Diver Course Online
There's a lot to learn during the PADI Rescue Diver course, including the PADI Rescue Diver theory, knowledge reviews and exam.
The time spent on the PADI Rescue Diver course theory and exam is not quite as much as the PADI Open Water Diver course, but it does still take up many hours of valuable holiday time, and if possible, we also recommend completing the theory in advance with PADI eLearning.
Make a booking with us to schedule the practical part of the course, then sign up with PADI to complete the theory online at home before you travel to Koh Lanta to dive with us.
PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course Online
Completing the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course online with PADI means that you only need to complete the practical tank analysing and dive part of the course here on Koh Lanta with us.
All you need to do is schedule a day diving with us (2 dives) along with 2 tanks of Nitrox and sign up for PADI eLearning.
As long as you select Dive & Relax as your eLearning dive centre on the PADI website, we can then take you diving with Nitrox and process your certification after your dives with us.
This is super convenient for students, effectively saving you a whole afternoon of your holiday.
